Nigersaurus dinosaur had more than 500 teeth in their wide mouth.
They had the highest tooth replacement rate among all known dinosaurs. Each tooth used to get replaced every 14 days.
The upper and lower jaw of the Nigersaurus had 68 and 60 columns respectively. Underactive tooth, there was a column with nine replacement teeth. Hence, Nigersaurus had more than 500 active and replacement teeth.
Nigersaurus was a 9-10 meter (30 ft) long plant-eating dinosaur that used to live about 115 to 105 years ago. Their teeth were evolved to explore and eat the plants near the ground surface.
